without waiting for perfection.
Most of all, we're proud of our results: MO helped me get my mojo back.
On a daily basis, I still use the toolset and mindset that I gained from my time in MO to manage my business, position my work, and connect with others.
I'm booked for the next year, and so much of what I do now exists because of what I built in MO.![]()

What our alumni say
The structured program I needed to bring more clarity to my fractional business and the community to help hold me accountable and keep me going.
Vicki Yang
Fractional People Ops
I could sense where the market was pulling me, but I didn't feel confident leaning into it. MO helped me talk it through, refine my thinking, and land on a positioning that finally felt right. That clarity carried through into packaging and pricing, which I had been stuck on as well.
Marwa Muhammad
AI-first Product Leader
I am really glad I went through the program at the beginning of my fractional journey.
Katie Barnes
Fractional COO
Any accelerator can provide resources, but building in parallel with other builders, learning from them, hearing practical tips from guest speakers and mentors, was the real unlock for me.
Meg Scheding
Fractional Product Marketing & GTM
Small circles that created trust and accountability fast, guest contributors that brought a real breadth of experience, and a workshop format that kept everything pointed at growth — not just talking about it.
Katie Eggers
Fractional Chief Business Officer
On a daily basis, I still use the toolset and mindset that I gained from my time in MO to manage my business, position my work, and connect with others. I couldn't recommend it more strongly.
Patrick Brand
Fractional Educator & Consultant
I joined only a few weeks after launching my fractional business, and it was without a doubt the most helpful program I could have gone through to understand how to build an actual business around my fractional and consulting work vs. just seeing it as a way to make money.
Kendall Crocker
Fractional COO
I came in with a lot of burnout as a former founder, and MO helped me get my mojo back.
Andrew Daub
Fractional Ops & People

Frequently asked questions
This accelerator runs from Monday, April 6 - Friday, May 15, 2026. It's a series of live, online workshops, small group meetings, and special events, like guest speakers. (Yes, we'll provide recordings if you can't make it live.)
You can expect 4 - 5 hours a week of live sessions, between workshops, small groups, 1:1s, and other events. Beyond the live sessions, we'd suggest setting aside another few hours a week to do the work: clarifying your offerings based on the workshop lessons, building your pipeline, meeting with other cohort members, and other activities to get your business moving. This would be incredibly difficult to participate in alongside a full-time job, so this program is best for people who have already committed their full-time to building independent businesses.
Mondays: Workshops, 10am - 12pm PST / 1pm - 3pm EST. Tuesdays and Wednesdays: Special events, like AMAs and Speakers. Wednesdays: Build Lab peer coworking, 10am - 12pm PST / 1pm - 3pm EST. Thursdays: Your Small Group meets. Fridays: Ship It Friday - share your weekly progress.
While our workshops are built to attend live, we'll provide recordings. If you anticipate missing more than 25% of the workshops, you may want to wait for future cohorts.
We keep things small, only accepting 25 people for each cohort. Our goal is to provide the highest quality peer set for you, and also be able to give strong support to each person who joins.

Mentors are successful independents, founders, portfolio careerists, and industry connectors. We've hand-picked each one because we think they could help you in some way: Some share their experience, some act as coaches, others connect you with companies that need your skills, and others make introductions that open immediate doors to opportunities.
We're booking people now! Check the Team page for speakers from the first cohort as examples.
Short answer: No. Longer answer: We're human, and will work with you if something exceptional happens in your schedule or life. We are unlikely to offer refunds for other reasons.
Short answer: Yes! Longer answer: We haven't decided on dates yet, but will likely run one more cohort in 2026.
